When you change from one map type to another, your mouse pointer is just sitting out in the field. How did you change from OSM to satellite views??

could it calculate directions also? i mean there`s no actual use for navigation here, you cannot just ride straight away directly to some place, you have to drive on the road.
is there any application on linux that can do it?
