Singapore is not known as a nature lover's haunt. Yet 30 minutes away from the city centre, we can find a surprisingly rich shore life. This is just a sampler...

  • Thanks for the encouragement! Will convey your comment for the next clip.

  • Glad to know there's interest to find out more.

If you'd like to know more about these creatures and their common names, I've uploaded stills of many of them on the wildsingapore flickr (comments won't accept url)

Am working on uploading factsheets on them too.

Alas, all on volunteer basis. Plus time taken to actually shoot them, there's just not been enough hours in the day to do everything that we would like to.

  • A thousssand apologies. We do have lots of clips of snakes, esp the Yellow-lipped sea krait. Will sssertainly try to include them in the next clip!

Great to see you're out of hibernation!

  • Thanks for the encouragement!

Right now, we're really too short handed to do much about putting together a product. Not to mention zero budget.

Too many of our shores are under threat now. We really do need to shoot first. We'll ask the questions later.

  • Thanks! And for the suggestion for shorter clips.

This was a sampler done for another situation which we just decided to load up as is.

We're so swamped juggling shooting, full time daytime jobs and other lives, we really haven't got much time to do much post-processing :-)

  • Thanks!

Wow, we sure could do with all the help we can get. Email us for more details?

  • Nice video.. It;s great to see that our local shore line is still fill with so many interesting marine creatures.

  • Great job done. =) I saw so many animals that I never thought would be in Singapore. I hope to know the names of the animals too.

  • Awesome video! I am into saltwater reef aquariums and have been trying to get ideas for a biotope. Your pics and video have been very helpful.

Do you have more images of zoanthids and favids in their natural habitat? I saw your pics of zoanthids among seagrasses and it blew me away.

  • This video is great. All the way guys. You guys have my support. Just don't forget to put the animals name it it ya?

  • Nice video! Just a comment, can you shrink the "Wild Singapore" logo? It's quite an eyesore and does not do justice to the nice imagery. More of such videos please? :)

  • Is it too much to add the common names of the creatures? :)
