I wonder how many of the singers in this group once thought they 'weren't talented'? One of the beauties of Sacred Harp singing, I have found, is that anyone who wants to may sit in the 'hollow square' at one of these singings, and learn to sing 'by immersion,' so to speak. I have found Sacred Harp singers to be a sort of nationwide 'community' that welcomes both the beginner and the more experienced with open arms.
Thank you for your comment.
