With the increase of multimedia technology it has become more popular to incorporate videos into worship services. Recently I attended a church service in which a video was used during the distribution of the elements of the Lord's Supper. The video can be found at sermonspice.com under the name "Mystery". I recommend viewing the video in its entirety for context.. But for time sake here is the video broken down into just essential clips.

This video was made to promote Catholic teachings to non-Catholics. The name of the Video is called Mystery which is the term used to describe the Catholic mass.
The video depicts two distinct persons... First is a Catholic priest performing the mass or Eucharistic rite where he magically turns bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ and then the elements are worship as God. This teaching comes from taking John 6:55 and 56 out of context
They read, "For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him."
The Catholic Church fails to read Jesus' explanation. John 6:47and 48 say, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life."I am that bread of life." --- Believing in Jesus Christ for salvation is the key. He goes on to say in verse 49, "Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead." There forefathers ate the manna PHYSICALLY and died. The same is true today. To eat the mass in order to gain eternal life only brings spiritual death. Eternal life comes from believing on Jesus Christ.
Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper as a memorial to remind us of what his death and resurrection accomplished. He said "...this do in remembrance of me."
The video also shows a young woman. The woman is Mary as the Queen of Heaven. Notice how the earth and moon revolve around her in this clip.

The Queen of Heaven is the pagan goddess Ashtoreth for which Israel was rebuked for worshiping. Jeremiah 7:18 says, "The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger."
They blasphemously portray Mary as co-redeemer, eventually laying down symbolizing her suffering along with Christ to save fallen man. Here is a clip from Catholicism a Crisis of Faith which explains Mary's role in the Catholic faith.
The Bible never gives Mary this way. The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:5, "For there is one God, and ONE mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;"
I do NOT believe this video was shown in the church service to promote Catholicism ... yet playing this video in a church during the Lord's Supper only serves to equate the blasphemous Catholic mass with the biblical memorial celebrated by Christians.
