The Ohio State Senate was supposed to vote on SB5 that would remove collective bargaining rights for public workers. A guy in the crowd was playing this Bob Marley song. Here's my stills of the day.
@JootiJazz I was floored and inspired by the degree of sophistication in the signage. I suspect a giant has been awakened in Ohio by similar activity in places like Wisconsin, Indiana, Florida, and, yes Egypt and Tunisia. I just played the role of collector, and I didn't capture half of them. One was held up for a short time, possibly by a teacher of history: "Hitler shut down the labor unions in 1933." I wonder what Pastor Martin Miemoller thought of that? Look 'em up, cuz I'm out of characters
This video clip should be the theme for SB5 Opponents all across the nation. Love the song - it has really captured the spirit of the workers who are fighting for their rights before the Republicans try to destroy them.
