I also want to add that DinoDude65's completely right- they simply don't pop out movies in lots just to earn cash- they need to work like maniacs as the movies are more or less based or at least linked to eachother- as some of you have said, the movies contain easter eggs to hint people where everything's leading to.

The Avengers will be a movie with all theese heroes teamed up, so of course they need to make some background movies first or it won't make any sense at all

**SPOILER ALERT FOR IRON MAN 2 AND CAPTAIN AMERICA**

Dunno if it's a spoiler really but I don't want to ruin for those who hasn't seen the movies yet- I just loved when I saw Captain Americas' shield in Iron Man 2 and the agent was all like "What's this doing here?"

And that Starks' dad was in the Captain America-movie, more or less creating Captain America (and also founded SHIELD)

Think they'll ever make Secret Wars into a movie? No moive Marvel could make would top that.

There won't be a reboot in 2013; however, Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 will be coming out that year. The Avengers 2 and 3 will soon follow. Captain America 2 and 3 will come sometime in there, and Incredible Hulk 2 (maybe 3) as well. Some people think that Marvel is just pushing these out because people like them. They knew people would like them, so they planned out a whole god damn universe. Three of each film.
