if u don't want to do all this then install an remote starter system on ur car which bypasses the passlock system and cures ur problem.. if I woulda done that it would have saved me hundreds when they screwed me by replacing the fuel pump

@dpsa98 i had my ignition cylinder replaced and a new key made. worked good for about a month on each. then went to hell again afterwards.

quick question about your repair. If you had ordered a new lock cylinder and key and just replaced that would that have worked also and would the security light stay off then?
