Most people might be closed mouthed about it but you can quickly differentiate yourself by going on the offensive. Don't offer too many details but politely respond and turn the tables to build rapport. State your answer and then ask the interviewer the same question. This situation is not that serious but if someone asks a more personal and divisive question such as, "what is your religion" then you may want to consider whether it is the type of culture you actually want to work in.
