House cats are not native species to the US. Every where I have lived has had a high number of Ferral cats. They all get dumped by their owners or simply go wild when the owner keeps them out of the house. People do the same for dogs but the dogs don't generally destroy an entire ecosystem and successfully increase their population like house cats.

Keep your cat inside and out of my yard and its all fun and games.

Nein, das ist gar nicht friedlich, the ONLY right thing to do with cats you wanna get rid off, is making them wet, if you nce catch them on a cold day with a bucket water, they will not come back trust me. Cats hate water, but yet id doesnt hurt them in a bad way...
