I will also be doing a video about getting ISO's and full games onto your psp

sorry guys for the crappy audio

1. You need to update to 6.39 before your start this
2. Download winrar and psp hacking folder in the links in the discription
3. Plug in your psp to usb mode and open up psp hacking holder and double click on 6.39 PRO-8 Folder and
copy PROUPDATE Into the psp game folder
4. Unplug your psp out of USB Mode and go to the game section and run The PROUPDATE
5. Press x to install the firmware and once the files have flashed click x to exit the application and
check in your system setting's and your firmware should be 6.39 PRO-8 or something like that
6. Plug the psp to USB Mode and rename the 150.PBP File to UPDATE (DO NOT CHANGE THE .PBP PART!)
7. Then click on psp tool 1.00 and then click on psp then click on game and copy the PSP Tool into the game
folder of your psp
8. Now unplug your USB and go the the game folder in your psp and run the psp tool 1.00 application
9. Then go to the second option witch should say memory stick options or something like that
10. Go to the bottom and you will see Create magic memory stick click on that and at the top click on 1.50 (orginal pandora) or something like that
11. It will go reading Eboot contents start flashing a few files and it will ask you to inject IPL Time machine click yes and it will also ask you to set the battery to 0xFFFFFFFF select yes (Something like That)
12. Then it will say click to hold button for boot Just click x (Something like that)
13. Once it says magic memeory stick created the go back to your home screen and take the battery out
14. When rebooting hold the power and X button to start a appplication and it will run. After a few secondes it will say lots of writing just click x to install and after a few secondes it will say x to close down psp or restart maunally. (IF NO REBOOT TAKE THE BATTERY OUT AND PLUG THE CHARGER IN AND REBOOT) The custom firmware should have installed 1.50 and then you can just in install a cfw from there

  • im getting to the final step and im holding both the power and x buttons like you said but it's not showing the "lots of writing" that you said should happen, it's just shutting off. also when i go to check my system information after i've done all this it is back to its original 6.39.

  • @dragonroots Just turn power on and press r trigger and x button

  • how can you fix it if it bricks or is it even possible just want to make sure before i do anything stupid

  • @MrHappySmellyJello Dont worry as long as you just follow the instructions

  • how can you turn it back or fix it if it bricks

  • @MrHappySmellyJello You just have to run a free programme called hellcates recovery flasher

  • WOW NICE NOW LET ME TEACH yOU HOW TO SPELL FOLDER ITS NOT FOLER BUD

  • and by the way...it does not ask me anything about setting the battery to 0xFFFFFFFF...

  • nvm that last comment...I did it right this time...but I got done the final step...and no lots of stuff came up...and I did press X while turning it on...and also it says I am back to regular fw 6.39...what did I do wrong?

    please help?

    thanks

  • I am at the part where after you rename the 150.pbp to update...I am the make a magic memory stick part...and I selected the pandora battery option...this is what I get..."Magic Memory Stick Information" and then a bunch of names...it says to hit O to back out...and then it says, "Please ensure UPDATE.PBP exists at eh root of the memory stick. this must be a 1.50 UPDATE EBOOT...."

sooo what did I do...and I did put it in the root of the memory card as well where it says MP_ROOT

  • ATTENTION: This method only works on a PSP 1000 series module 01g because you are downgrading to version 1.50.

  • it said "memory stick could not be created"

i did all the steps right, what should i do?

  • when i plug in the battery it will start by itself and the screen wont turn on but the power bottom is on will u help me

  • @Darksector009 Well I'll try...

  • @Serebii179175 Sorry i couldnt access this account its a risk you can try it if you want
