CHEMICAL BURN from salon bleach: remember kids; always foil

I ain't tryin to be scene; it's tryin to be me.

There's not really ANY reason, other than laziness, for a professional hair stylist to put bleach directly on your scalp. If you tell them it's burning and they tell you that's normal, then demand to see the manager or have your head rinsed IMMEDIATELY!!!

I specifically asked if the burning was a sign of damage and she told me it was not.

You can be uncomfy about bein a bitch for about 10 minutes while you get ur stuff and leave the salon or you can keep your mouth shut and risk getting seriously injured,

It burns, you guys! Like acid is just eating it's way to my brain.

My mom is a Beautition, so ive learned some things about cutting hair and styling it while I was growing up. That said, the person who gave you that bleach and cut has no buisiness being in a hair salon, and definitely not wielding hair bleaching products, Tazer that mad person. Oh yea and Supernatural is Awesome, dean is perhaps the funniest character I have seen on a TV show. Seen the one with the cursed rabbit foot? YOU HAVE TO WATCH THAT ONE : D its probably my favorite episode I think

@eCgDrake yeah, it's pretty ridiculous that I'd have to experience this BS. Supernatural IS awesome*!* I must not've seen that one yet; I'm pretty sure I'd remember that, lol. I'm about 4 eps into the 2nd season. The Dean moment that stands out most to me right now was in Bloodlust where he's gotta take that hunter down so he wont' slay Tara(she's Tara on Buffy, OMG, I fuhreaked, lol) He gets him in head lock and as he's walking him back to the chair he just rams the dudes head into the wall.♥2u

What a horrible experience, I cannot even think of the words I want to use to describe how angry that makes me and how sad it makes me to hear of you going through more unnecessary torment. All the bad things you go through there has got to be something Great and Amazingly Good coming your way and I hope its soon.

the same thing happened to me today !! she put the bleach too directly right onto my scalp, now i asked her is it going to hurt? she saids no it will only itch. but i kept insisting and asking but she keeps saying it will only be itchy... after i had all the bleaching in.. my hair started to steam! i had one or two foils in my hair and there was smok coming out from the top of my head! my scalp burns like a son of a bitch! NEVER AGAIN !

That's weird. I've had my hair bleached at a salon several times and I've never had it foiled. Only directly on the scalp. The hairstylist uses 30 volume on me, and it tingles a bit after a while, but it never caused actual pain and I never had a chemical burn or anything.

my hairs not crusty and my scalp is not read but it burns like shit

they bleach didnt hurt when i put it on myself and i didnt put it on my scalp i have and inch of black hair away from may hair....

could i have scalp burns even if nothing looks wrong?

and will my hair grow back okay if i do have it???

I'd recommend getting Triple Moon Hair Anointing Oil from Nightblooming's etsy shop. It's fantastic for both hair and scalp issues. It should also help your hair recover from being bleached/processed.

I use it myself for scalp eczema, plus, the woman who runs the shop is an she's online friend and she's awesome. ;)

@nosmartyr I remember that moment lol he rams him into the wall and says " oops" that was a great episode. The one I mentioned is later on, I think it may be in another season but you will know when you watch it.
