For 35 years or more I always thought this was Elvis, singing! When I learned it was Terry Stafford, I asked, who is Terry Stafford? Never the less, it's a fantastic bit of singing! A favorite!

@CL137626 Yep, the original version was slightly better..Elvis' that is
-
@Cmr4brandy If it was the "1st and only time Elvis sang this song"..how come that it can be heard on the Pot Luck album from 1962 ??
-
@cbellue Fail. Elvis recorded it 1962, it appeared on the "Pot Luck" album...Terry made his cover version 1964. So..Fail! - but you're right about one thing - it's hard to remake an original.
-
@PistolPeteNL well, it's says on the video of elvis of this song, that elvis recorded it in 1962 and this song of terry was in 1962, so... it's kinda confusing! but the 2 versions of this song are great
-
woah, this song definetly reminds me of my auntie:')
-
the best version. terry was terry .
-
This song was popular in 1964, way before Elvis recorded it. I think it's the best of the 2, it is hard to remake an original.
-
He did it better, cause it was the original!
