Thanks so much for all your videos. You made it so easy for me.I cannot wait to try! I've looked at Continuous Join 1 until Continuous Join 4 and these are PERFECT!!!!!

@jnlwilliams2 Single crochet would work well. I also like to do reverse single crochet to give it an edge that looks like a braid or piping. I do not have a video for it, other You Tube teachers do. I'll have to add it to my video to do list.

I think you have the best learning videos for crocheting I have ever watched! Thank you so much for taking the time to share your awesome talent with so many people. I have learned a lot! Again thank you!

Hi Beth, i'm having real problems with this. I'd loke to print out the tut, but the diagrammes go off on pages in a way that is difficult to follow (1/2 on one page the other on next but with writing missing) I have tried to amend but not with much success. Is there somewhere I can find the tut without grids?

@majasmagic The second link has the diagram for the 9-patch I used in the video. Crochet along with the video. You will not need written instructions after following it. It's not difficult once you get the technique down. It's more difficult to explain than to do.

Hi Beth, it's the pest again. Now that I have the placemats done, is there a specific way to block them? How do you block the Red Heart acrylic yarn? There is nothing in the instructions about blocking. Thank you. You are awesome!!!!!

@jnlwilliams2 I generally do not block them unless they are uneven. Give them a wash in warm water and dry them in a dryer on low heat. Take them out just before they are dry and lay them flat.

Beth, I am so excited about this video. I wanted to make placemats with the granny squares and didn't know how to join them. You made it so easy for me. I want to edge the squares for stability but don't know how I should do it. Do you have a video on that subject? I may try a single crochet or maybe a half double. Wish me luck. Again I thank you sooooo much for your videos.

@jnlwilliams2 Single crochet would work well. I also like to do reverse single crochet to give it an edge that looks like a braid or piping. it's demonstrated on the video I made entitled "7 crochet hats; finishing the Kippah"
