  • Man, they attach motives to things that truly aren't wrong and fail to recognize the power and magnification of what they may not even be trying to say. I'm sure the true message behind this video is valid, but the way people take will this and misconstrue what they're trying to say is something they didn't think long enough about. They've cheapened many genuine things and caused an ADD generation of people to now look for this stuff only to mock it and miss the true message. What a bummer.

  • @JustinKintzel The bummer is today's churches would rather preach fluffy sermons such as "How to Avoid Stress for the Holidays" than hard hitting Biblical truth and spend tens of thousands on music than to go into all the world. The "church" I left denied supporting a girl for missions but turned around and hired a music "minister" for 50 plus a year. But I guess that will keep the pews full and the money coming in.

  • @kot135 It's the Holy Spirits job to reach people's hearts not some theatrically watered down fluff that boils down to mere entertainment. How many people "reached" with this style of entertainment would continue to attend if the emphasis was on biblical truth? The seats would empty - quickly.

  • It's one reason we left our last church 6 years ago. It got so most of the music had no scripture, Gospel, or doctrine in it. It was mostly aimed at the emotions, and once the service is over and the emotions are gone, there's nothing left to edify. The church was trying to sound like the world to attract the world, and as a result, you couldn't tell it apart from the world (except that the world sounded more professional). Also, why sing when the music is too loud to even hear yourself!

  • "biblical truth" oh my.

  • @Matthew2400 Atheists are the only group on earth defined by what they do not believe in.

  • It's good to be Catholic

  • As a Christian myself, I thoroughly appreciate and laugh HYSTERICALLY at this.

  • @character654 So a gnostic atheist than?

  • @character654 No, that's not it. Sorry.

(In case you didn't get it: you claimed that the bible is "ALWAYS relevant", so I replied sarcasticly with a reply that shows that the bible ISN'T "ALWAYS relevant".)

  • @DonOfTheInternet One who KNOWS God doesn't exist.
