Man, why is it every time I try to discover new death metal bands, they just sound like a shell of the 80s and 90s sound...I try to be open minded with the new stuff but it just bores me to tears most of the time.

it seems to me that the farther bloodbath go they seem to get more satanic. in ne case much respect for one of the best death metal bands ive ever heard! \m/

@66nataS In my honest opinion, the new albums are better technically and producing-wise, but the music itself is taste. This is rawer old-school death metal, that is some more modernized death metal. Both sound good, too bad Mikael's growls got really weak with the passing of time.

personally i prefer the first album of bloodbath, 'cause it sounds so "dirty" and "mad".. just awesom.. the newer albums are not bad, but still they do not reach the lvl. of this masterpiece!
