Ft. Gibson Dam

All flood gates are full open at Ft. Gibson Dam in NE OK. The lake level made it to 27.5 ft over normal. At 28 ft, the water goes over the gates.

My mom lived close to there in the 80's and she told me one time the water came clear up to the road past the parking lot at the right of the screen.Best damn fishin I ever experienced when I went there to visit in 85.

if you want to catch a huge fish, throw a shad head on a hook and wait. but thats why they call it fishin and not catchin.

love this place =D. cant wait to go back. i've caught my biggest fish here tied up to the cable. the late nights with family and friends and fishing...nothing can beat that...cant wait til summer of 2008 ^.^

this is going to happen monday to cause they are at 27.5 now monday morning they r going to be at 28.4 so they will open all 30 gates at full max capacity flooding vian and muskogee gore and webbers be there i will im channel 2

Should have thrown a shad out on a hook, there's some big ole blue catfish in there at that time.
