Watch :)
-This is Cameron. Cameron is VERY tactile defensive and rarely picks up objects (basically never). We started brushing therapy only 2 days ago. Brushing therapy is all-over brushing, with joint compressions, performed every 1.5-2 hours. Helps provide deep pressure and help with sensory issues. He does more with his hands in this clip than I have EVER seen him purposefully do in his entire life.
Watch him work his magic! Mama's FREAKIN' OUT !!! FYI- after the camera stopped, he DID get that toy picked up (heavier one) and the remote control
My sister is a OT and suggested this many years ago when we first found out our son was Autistic. It was awesome because not long after we started he actually walked by someone plate and grabged a piece of watermelon of all things, something he would never touch before! A great therapy and we still use it occasionally at 11 years old! Glad to see it is helping your precious boy!
