  • The powers of cheap plastic.

  • I saw no damage. HOW did you come up with over a $1000 in damage in each test?

  • @bestamerica oops I wrote the wrong thing.:o

Anyways i Mean it is cheaper and lighter to make and use a cheap plastic bumper

  • DaveTube24,

    '

    then news report is wrong,,,

strong metal bumper is less problem, less repair, less worn out, less cost and keep longer,,,

form / plastic bumper is more problem, more repair, more weak, more worn out, more costly and keep shorter,,,

auto makers are so dirty fifshly nasty businesses

  • @bestamerica well in the news report it said it

  • DaveTube24,

    '

    i dont think so,,,

    it is not true

  • @bestamerica it cost more money than cheap plastics

  • @kyle51895 its because saturn put foam in the middle of the bumper so that the vue would pass

  • @BigBirdy100 the inside

  • This test is kind of a rip off to the Vue, because this is the only SUV I've seen that they offset it. The Ford Escape for example, it hit the trailer hitch and bounced right off.

  • @BigBirdy100 underneith is evil...

  • @BigBirdy100 because the iihs replace all the scratches parts for new parts.
