are u sure u know how to play the violin...?

Hi, could I ask what kind of transducer did you use? And could you also include specific details? Because I want to design a pre-amp.
It's just I don't know what's a good transducer for an electric violin. Most likely a piezo-electric type one right? Or if you bought the transducer do you know where I could get one?

Does it need to be a certian length??

I use the finger board from 3/4 violin, thus I make the length according on this scale.

Invest into better speakers and amp for a good cheep starter amp i would suggest a Berhinger 1/12 bass amp or P.A and ether would do well and then you will be able to hear a more true tone of your instrument and how it resonates and sounds :) thank you and good job sir
