how conservatively did you guys drive this car? My moms 07 sedan with the 4AT gets around 30 in town and 36 hwy... The best I got was 39 on pure 250 miles of hwy driving. I'm not surprised hers cant break 40 bc the engine just buzzes away at 3000 revs at 70 mph and even at 60 its still at 2500.

I have a 2008 Yaris and love it. I've been getting around 37 mpg.
It's a great little car!
