Vivica Genaux sings an excerpt from the aria "Ombra Fedele Anch'io" from Riccardo Broschi's Baroque opera Idaspe.

  • I ALWAYS question Willy's action...that type of insistent looking to another is disturbin...but the guy is flirting,so give him a break...(but i disagree with the method)

  • yes, i agree with you. he would be called a stalker if he weren't 'Ryan Gosling'! the look on Nikki Gardner's face at around 0:53 leaves a question... is she frightened or pleased.. thank you for your nice comment:)

  • I love her voice!

  • i agree with you. i think she could've been one of top ten soprano singers even if Maria Callas were still alive. thank you for the nice comment:)

  • Oh my Lord! Vivica is in this movie?

    What a great surprise!

  • she trills like an angel

  • you're very welcome!

  • thank you so much for the kind help! as you may know, there is the italian word "lette" which means "read" so i was very confused. so i'm impressed by you for knowing this old-latin like word while it doesn't seem to be your mother tongue. you're awesome!

  • Basically s/he (the original singer would have been a man..) is saying that they will be their idol's shadow. 'Lette' actually refers to Lethe, the Greek river of forgetfullness in the underworld. So even in a place of forgetting, the beloved will always be close by the loved one.
