So long as the relevant rules and regulations would be followed, the people have every right to build their Mosque. However, know that Cordoba means Islamic rule in the West, not co-existence. Islam wants the Mosque to be the Caliphate. The Mosque would become a monument for radical Islam to the success of the 911 attacks and the first beach-head of the Islamic invasion of America. Islam should show some sensitivity and tolerance and build their Mosque elsewhere.

@AspiringPotato "Never let a crisis go to waste". Drag it out, label the opposition, change the narrative away from the crappy economy, failed spending policies and entitlements. The Mosque is not an issue that the incumbents can ever vote on, therefor supporting it means nothing to their overall record. If they could, they would drag this out until November. They would rather defend the Mosque than the "historic" Bills they passed, because the Bills are indefensible. And they know it.

@teabaggersblow New Corps. donated $300k to be used for several programs and projects the Imam is involved with. Yeah and...? This cat is on the Fed dime for $200. per diem to travel to the Arab world to do, what again? Maybe he's like a NASA operative...Best guess. Perhaps we ought to demonize Obama along with Fox News for supporting the Imam, sound good?
