Viking, a Paso Fino stallion, is being trained for endurance races. One of the most important things he must learn is to be mounted and dismounted on either side. When in rough country, the rider sometimes may have no choice but to use the "wrong" side. Mike Bertin is the rider, with trainer Dacodah Herkenhoff standing nearby.
That is awesome. I have a Paso Fino Gelding, but he is not being trained in endurance races or anything. I can get on him anyway, crawl under his legs, ride him backwards, sidesaddle, and like a dumb jockey. He is a very gentle big boy.!.!.!.!
