I jogged over to Joe’s house at 6:45 that evening. I knew the way well now, having spent more nights then one there. With a sigh, I rang the doorbell. No one answered. Slightly irritated, after all, Joe had been so obsessed with me being there, I thought that I would come a bit early and now he wasn'’t even answering. I opened the door anyways. Thinking, even if Joe wasn’'t home, I could just wait on the couch or something. that’s when I saw him.
Lying on the couch, one of his hands on some blondes back, the other moving its way slowly up her thigh. She was moaning, and laughing. Joe was smiling, his eyes had a twinkle in them. “"Tell me what you want." he breathed. She giggled. "“Go harder...go faster..."” she gasped, laughing at the same time.
I simply stood there. Agony, pain, betrayal all of those words and then some whipped through my mind. He was a player. He was a jerk. He was a jackass. He was Joe.
I spoke, anger shooting through me. "Hi."
"Adrianna!" He frantically tried to push the blonde off of him, and grab his pants in the same motion.
"“You’'re.. ah..early.”"
"“Yeah. because you seemed so eager for me to come.”"
He looked panicked. “"Uh, Stephanie, you can go home now."
The blonde looked up, still naked. She raised her eyebrows. “
"I'’d prefer to stay here." she said, her voice lowering seductively. “
"No, I mean it. It’'s time for you to go home.”"
She sighed, and, acting as though the motion pained her, she began to get dressed.
I stared at Joe, feeling as though a dagger had pierced my heart.
After a moment, Stephanie came over. "Buh bye Joseph. I'’ll see you around”." she glanced down, surveying his body with a smile. She leaned up, and kissed him hard, wrapping her arms around her neck. I folded my arms across my chest. Joe gently pushed her off. “"Bye Steph."” She smiled, gave me a dagger glare and left.
I spoke, staring at Joe. “"So."
Joe took a deep breath, and was about to speak, but I beat him to it. “"First, can you please put on a shirt? Because it’s extremely distracting."”
Joe glanced down. “"Oh..yeah right.”"
I waited until his shirt was on. "“And second. why?”"
Joe hesitated. "“Look, she just came over and then...everything escalated."
I looked at him, pain searing through me, but I tried to keep calm.” "“Ok. Joe I—”--"
He silenced me with a look. "“Adrianna. I'’m really sorry. words can'’t describe how sorry I am. Or how much I love you.”" I looked at him, feeling as though my heart was going to break. “"That may be, but Joe, you cheated on me!”"
He blinked hard, looking as though he were going to cry. "“I'’m sorry."” He whispered, agony choking through his words. "I don'’t know why I did what I did, but Adri, all that time, when I was.."” he gave a funny gesture with his hand and head, “"You know...I was thinking about you.”"
I looked at him. "Shall I remind you why you were thinking of me?"” I asked, slowly moving my way over to him and placing my heads on his chest. He looked surprised. “"Aren'’t you mad at me?”"
"“Furious. But I'’m going to take my anger out in a different way.”" And with that, I kissed him with more passion that what I’'d ever kissed him before.

1. adrianna was mad at joe at school, because he and kevin were talking about how joe was a player, and she thought that he was just using her. Which, at first, he was.

2. she caught him cheating, she's really mad, but she can't resist his puppy dog eyes. lol :)
