In their original music video they have either tuned it down to a C or they have tuned it to a open D.

the same but twice as high, and you will need special strings for that if you want them to 'survive' :)

Martin is doing the first chorus. He's pretty much the only one in the band who can sing that high, and that is not at all Paul's (the guy on the right) voice. As said in previous comments, you can tell that in the RBTL that it's Martin singing. :)
