  • @turoniner You realize this is an acoustic version** of the song right? Listen to the album before you hate on Bob some more. Josh Klinghoffer played lead guitar on the album, and the Bicycle Thief really did come out with some great songs.

Seeing as how your a RHCP fan, you should know that Bob's band Thelonious Monster was breaking out through the same scene as bands like Janes, RHCP, Fishbone. Heroins a hell of a drug.. unfortunately for Bob.

  • @raulparedes2449 Hahaha you can't compare this to stuff that Kurt Cobain wrote. His guitar parts were simple but innovative, and his voice was really original. There is nothing interesting about this, guitar-wise or vocal wise. This guy is playing pattycake with that guitar. Then again, the difference between this and Cobain is reflected in their respective success levels. Oh well....

  • @turoniner Well then find 50 people at the college dorms and post up their music and we'll all get hear it! Theres nothing wrong with keeping music simple, kurt cobain did and he had a little success with it. The bicycle thief cd is fantastic! Speaks from the heart, not dorms!!

  • I mean it's okay...I loved reading about how he fit into the Chili Peppers' lives in Scar Tissue (Kiedis' autobio)...but what the heck are you guys hearing? His voice is average, the guitar part is totally amateur and doesn't change at all....what is so great about this? I could find you 50 people who could play just as well in any college dorm.

  • ........5...........fuk.....ing.....stars...

  • @johnisnotdead John F had two Martin O-15's dating (I believe) from the 1950's. It looks like Bob is playing a dreadnought, and judging from the huge fret dots it's much newer than John's Martins.

  • I hope Bob and John write some music together someday. Bob singing on the cover of Dying Song is the most amazing singing I've ever heard in my life.

  • cute song.

  • and yes, i LOVE this song and album so so much! exellent work. i wouldn't expect any less than perfect work from bob!
