Captured a moment in time. I bet kids graduating from college today can't quite have experiences like this. First of all there are probably no Trumans in the world today...

I am ashamed to say that it NEVER occured to dumb ol' gojiramonkey to seek out the locations ...OK there ARE across the sea but..NO EXCUSE...this IS Fandango, after all...Is there a Fan Club or such like, cos I am IN !!! I remember the Repo Man director Alex Cox talking about Rumblefish (another great) and he said something like "When the bomb goes off and the survivors are living in a cave , this is the type of film that will forever be played on walls ..." Sums up Fandango perfectly...

I am from the UK and it has been one of my ALL TIME favourite films since the late 80's/early 90's and a battered VHS copy off the TV was all I has until about a year ago when I found a UK region compatible copy on the internet so I bought two !! I have lost count of the amount of times me and my friends have watched it...Just tremendous...from the brilliant opening credits ( LOVE that spider !!) to the toast silhouette TOTAL QUALITY !!! WHY it has never had a UK release BEGGARS BELIEF !!!

I've seen this movie at least 40 times since 1985 with my best friend, who was Gardner and I was Phil...... at 43 this movie exemplifies the life I had, always wanted and still long for.......

@tk848 Actually I think my dad has said something on the site.... Either that or he's being a jerk and keeping it to himself :3 But i'll let him know he should get it out there. :)

My father and I went on a road trip to all of the sites in this movie. It was so fun! Now, the train scene, where it is on the website... Is actually wrong. :3 There's a dip, about half a mile down from the spot where everyone thinks it's at. My father and I found wire and hunks of plaster-concrete stuff from the Mclain Massacre sign. There is also a rock that's in the movie... :D It was so fun, we are doing it again this year.

@BBAlover1997 You should come to our message board at the website. I don't think anyone has mentioned the location you're talking about.

I watched this movie about 10 times when it first hit HBO. I finally talked my sister into watching too and at the end she says "that was the dumbest movie I've ever seen". Go figure...
