A remake of a video I put together earlier on marriage. I actually played this at our wedding. I pray it blesses you as it did us!

God Bless -

Mark 10:8-9, "...the two shall become one flesh.' So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate."

  • Learn how to spell fundamental...and consummate.

Speaking of consummate, I'm pretty sure God is NOT having sex for or with me. No, God does NOT do that...

  • @BeejieB Thank you so much for the spell check. I put these video together so quickly sometimes I forget to proof read.

And on your other comment, I think you have misunderstood the context of the message. God is the Master Creator of all things. When a man and woman are joined together we must realize who is really behind it, God creates the man for the woman and God has created marriage and God has created sex. All ownership for these things belong to Him.

  • I was about to ask who the speakers are, but I see you've tagged John Piper, Paul Washer and Voddie Baucham. Is this the order in which they speak? These messages are all excellent, great quality. Thank you for sharing these- trusting that Christ is working in hearts even now. "Come unto Me all you who labor and are heavy-laden and I will give you rest..."

  • Wow at first i wasnt even gonna watch this video but im glad i did becuz some day i wanna be married and this is something i def will need.. I know marriages arent fairy tales always but i want to know that God will help us both in the good times and bad! AWESOME

  • @identity313 "God creates the man for the woman "

You got that backwards, friend and the difference is very substantial. Marriage is a antitype of Christ and the Church. Exchanging the positions is equivalent to saying Christ is made for the Church.

Every antitype God made was made specifically and with purpose and reason and is a picture of the type. All sin is a corruption of that purpose and pattern and the proper roles of the antitypes are the confirmation of truth..

  • Hebrews 3:13

    New International Version (NIV)

13 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.

  • I love most of this video, except two things. Jesus DID allow for divorce in marital unfaithfulness, that's why the vows in the marriage say to the exclusion of all others. Otherwise that wouldn't be in the vow. Adultery is a breaking of the vows that Jesus said divorce is then allowed. Also what about a spouse being married to someone who molests their own children? Are they supposed to stay married and not separate then?

  • Amen Thanks for sharing this

i needed it and feel so blessed

    i feel so renewed!

  • @identity313 What is the song that is played in this video? I cannot think of what movie this is in for the life of me!

Great video by the way. Incredibly encouraging and Gospel aligning.

  • How can I get a permanent DVD copy of this video???? I would pay whatever necessary to get a copy. Please respond.

  • @prayeraday that would be amazing

  • @Identity313 This is very true and powerful, and it is all that God has taught me in marriage. This is very good.

A husband must give himself to his wife as Christ gave Himself for the Church. And wife must submit to the Love which her husband has towards her. There's so much to learn about marriage and the deepness thereof. When married people find troubles and trials the look up excuses saying god is ok with it. It is different when it concerns abuse or adultery but the rest can be overcommed

  • I am so thankful for this video. It helps me realize the need to stay strong in my marriage. I love my husband and will keep having faith that God is holding us together.
