its not hard to collect...we have tons of it...right now we have 22,000 mats ready to mobilize in the US. Now if we could only get politicians to support us, this could become reality.

the mats they make with hair can be used 100x. Its low tech and virtually free too -- so you can collect hai and make the mats and have volunteers assist in beachfront cleaning immediately after a spill.

this has been know for a long time. more than my own age (21 years). you just can't get enough hair to clean a real spill. what we need is a product that can be made with hair properties.
