Soon, someone will beat Cain, if it's not Brock. I thought Cain could beat him, but not like that. Mir beat brock the 1st time too. Brock really impressed me with the Carwin fight though. He can't be a non fighter. He knows what he's doing, he's just not a Ju Jitsu guy, like Mir, but that's about it. Brock Needs to really get a stand up game badly.

There was a lot of technique involved in how Brock beat Mir the second time around. At first glance, sure, it looked like a big brother beating up his little brother after a frustrating game of Madden. But in reality, he had a great game plan for that fight, it wasn't just his huge muscles that did it for him.

I agree. Any Martial artist will tell you that having huge muscles don't mean much to a high level Martial artist. I mean, listen to Mir in this vid. If Brock had no technique, he would've been submitted pretty quickly.

Brock is a beast. But the Velasquez fight showed that he still has a lot to work on. It's hard to say with his size if he'll ever be able to have good standup. Sure, he's fast for how big he is, but he's no where near the speed of a Dos Santos or Velasquez

Brock is too strong for Mir,but Mir will knockout Cain. And if Mir doesnt get to him first,Dos santos will knock him out.

@Punishment314 I understand, but I don't doubt the fact he has Dvt. He's huge, eats only meat, and when your that big with a limited diet, your colon and intestines develop cysts.

I knew a guy with it, He would lose 30,40 pounds, then be fine for a month or two then it would hit him, but not quite as hard

@jakeisurpimp The only reason I say Brock is faking the illness is because he accused Frank Mir of faking an injury prior to there rematch. I have to admit though it is a bit odd that Brock completely changed his lifestlye and was o.k. for the Carwin/ Velasquez fights but a month or so out from the JDS fight he was violently ill again and needed surgey.

@Punishment314 He has diverticulitis. he had a 12 inch portion of his colon removed. I'm not a Brock nut hugger, but I honestly don't think he's faking. There are 3 things brock loves: Meat, Beating people up, and money and being out on illness means he doesn't get his 5.3 mil a year

@Spyro90 Even after having his face beaten in? no doubt mir is tough...but in the past 3 years i haven't seen much from him. Ass kicked by carwin and brock, then 2 very sloppy wins against a burnt out ex pride champ, and a tough guy with no cardio because he's fat.

That submission over cheick was badass though!

Although I think JDS is better than Cain, and this is coming from someone who lives in san jose haha.
