Alix Olson: Fearless Poet

Alix Olson is an internationally touring spoken word artist and progressive activist. One part peace vigil, one part protest rally, Alix ignites audiences everywhere she performs. Olson's innumerable stage, broadcast, radio and print appearances include, twice headlining HBO's "Def Poetry Jam". In this program, we learn about how Alix got her start. Her friend, poet Keith Roach, discusses the fearlessness of her work. We also see Alix perform the poem "Unsteady Things" from her documentary "Left Lane".
