Ken Curtis never got far in the movies until he showed his acting ability as Festus Hagan where he became a household name. Personally, I like him as a singing cowboy. He sure showed his teeth!!!!!

@TheDeanmartinfan1 he was in Wings of Eagles, Searchers, Alamo, Rio Grande, and the Quiet Man. might have been some others. He was, I believe, considered part of the John Ford stock company.
