DURING THE 2004 REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION IN NYC, 1800 CITIZENS WERE TAKEN OFF THE STREET AND PLACED INTO A DETENTION CENTER KNOWN AS PIER 57. THE PIER WAS CONTAMINATED WITH OIL AND ASBESTOS WHICH MADE MANY PEOPLE SICK INCLUDING THE POLICE WHO ARRESTED EVERYONE.
THIS IS AMERICAN DEMOCRACY?
