This is the first draft of my DirectX graphics project for my first semester at the University of Abertay Dundee. I'm not sure how much more I'll have time to do before it is due, but I have successfully implemented everything I was asked to. (Not to mention I also re-skinned "Tiny.x")

@alaskajohn I'm new to this whole thing and need some help being pointed in the right direction. I'm not a newb at computers and and pick them up quick. Where do I need to go to start learning game programming?

@FantasyX3I *facepalm* he answered your question about programming, but, Alien Swarm is a source game (made by valve on the source engine made with C++), and it is 3D

@FantasyX3I Alien Swarm is all 3D. As long as you can see objects from multiple sides, it's 3D.

@FantasyX3I Use XNA Game Studio for 3D. Lots of online demos. The default project is ready to go... just load your textures and add your draw commands. Couldn't be easier (well, unless you use Flash or Unity).
