Exceptional Dan Fogelberg arrangement from Phoenix LP. Done a while back, but I found it.

  • Hi "TheLastNail",

Are you will to make a how to on this song? This is one of my favorite songs.

  • @LelouchLamperouge019

Thanks for asking. I sometimes don't even play gu.itar for months at a time and can't say why...I'll try

  • sir, i think dan is smiling over your rendition....congrats

  • Thanks for looking in. Hope to play again soon.

  • Hadn't heard you do this until now, Alan. Good job! Great song - great lyrics - especially for those of us who are on the road a lot.

  • Yes,

I've been on the road so much I never really feel home--just kind of feels like another hotel. I love this song too. It really touched me the first time I heard it.

  • I rarely look at covers as so many are just so bad. LOL But Lo and Behold, I clicked on this one and I am so glad I did. Beyond SUPERB. It's so nice to see and hear the essence and nuances of all the walking lines Dan did so well. All I can say is I am glad my ear is getting better (with miles yet to go) as I heard the open "e" on some parts of the G chords. Thank you for the validation and more importantly, such a great job on this BEAUTY!!!! Ahhhh... the pitter patter of wifey feet. LOL

  • I can barely round myself up to play, let alone anyone else. I really can sing much better when I'm not playing, but in the hundreds of times I performed I only once sang without holding my guitar. Big mistake--I should have sang and let someone else play the guitar, but I wasn't much of a front man. Lessons learned...

  • you need back up even dan had back up .very nice job.

  • Thanks,

I missed a lot of the cool subtle things Dan put into this. Hopefully I'll do it better next time. Maybe something tonight.
