This is a sport kill, not a function of this lion killing innocent people. They trap these animals within a confined area then "hunt" them for sport.

then a lone ranger that was trying to find the villager
and then was tracked down and killed by these rangers

Were the two people who were killed Park Rangers or hunters? All Lions will attack if they feel threatened; are we going to kill all of them? If I broke into Mike Tyson's house and he kicked the shit out of me within an inch of my life would that give me the right to go back and shoot him?
