Neck lift surgery (also known as platysmaplasty) is a procedure in which a surgeon cosmetically alters the neck muscles. Patients typically opt for neck lift surgery to correct loose skin (due to aging or genetics) in order to achieve a more vibrant, taut look.




During platysmaplasty, the surgeon makes an incision behind the ears and/or under the chin to reach the neck muscle (platysma). The surgeon then manipulates these muscles (which can include repositioning or partial removal). Normally, platysmaplasty takes 2-3 hours, but in cases where the surgery is performed in conjunction with liposuction or a face-lift, the time may be longer.

@nambypamby34 Hope all goes well for you, I have a little bit of scar tissue on my forehead, almost like a " VAN DAMME BUMP " hopefully dr Nassif could flatten it a bit more,, I have massive car crash 3 years ago you see which left me with a slight scar bump on my head, but sure I know he would be able to do something hopefully
