Hey 5 0 deuce, I was in a sister company back in '86 - '89. The 93rd Engr Co. We were stationed in Karlesruhe at Neureut Kaserne. Back then, the 93rd and the 502nd were part of the 565th Engr. Batt.
It's no wonder they are messing up: Just received this letter from friend at Ft Wood, one of the female recruits in AIT got "upset" over a letter she received, the Captain had to sither down and hug her (F cpt) and let the Private call Mommy to tell her it was OK. don't worry, she is deploying to Afghanistan with 814 as a 21/c, good luck guys, you will need it with Private Bell in your Company
Gentlemen, you must back the truck into the water until the water is halfway up the rear wheel. I f you don't you have a beached ponton and you must retrieve it and ttry again. That was embarrasing.
i was a 12c/b bridge crewmember the slash b is for boat operator. i spent 15 years in the army stationed in germany,ft bragg, and other duty stations. bridge builders rock. my old unit 264th engineers also hold the world record for the MGB bridge fast time built.
