Dude, please help, I only have 'Microphone', 'Rear MIC' and 'Line In' in my Recording properties, not 'Sterio mix'. Do I need to hook up a microphone into the computer to get this 'Sterio mix' option or what?

This function doesn't exist on my computer.

@VulcanXL In you task bar on the right bottom find the speaker icon. Right click on it and select play back devices. You will find all the options there.
If you are using Windows 7 or Vista, then you will see the Sound dialogbox poping up when you select playback devices. In that playback devices dialog box just right click and see if "Show Disabled Devices" is selected. Only then will you get all the devices option.

umm i have a laptop and i could record without a microphone, but it wouldn't let me import or put it for animation. please help

@Dogjy101 When you record and save your file, Windows gives you option to save the sound you recorded as .wav, .mp3 etc. See what sound format your animation supports and you can save your sound in that format.
