it's taken years of saving. for as long as i can remember i've saved all the money that i've made so i could restore my own vehicle like my dad has done. he's certainly helped me a lot and guided me through much of it, but i've done nearly all the work. in fact, it's still not finished since i moved away to go to school and nobody's around to work on it

looks like a very practical vehicle--all batteries and no passenger or cargo space.

@effee1000 no batteries in the passenger area since i'm using lead acid. it'd be too dangerous if it were involved in a crash. cargo area's mostly taken up by the batteries, but it still has a ton of room inside.

how did u get the front screen in without breaking it? i have a early t2 also with a crack in the screen. ive been warned to get the pros to do it... nice job good luck;)

welp, we did break the original glass putting it back in. i would recommend hiring a pro to do it, since it's such a big piece of glass and it's kinda difficult to get in. but if you have a couple of buddies to help you out it's a lot easier. put to guys in the front seats with their feet up in the air, and two guys on the outside. the two guys on the inside will control the glass with their feet, while the others push the glass in from the outside. it sounds goofy but it works.
