Aerosmith es una banda estadounidense influenciada por grandes grupos pertenecientes a la segunda generación del rock británico.

Desde sus inicios en 1964 se fueron forjando un camino de éxitos constantes a pesar de que por su estilo de vida se han visto envueltos en varios escándalos y crisis. A través de los años la banda ha sufrido varias modificaciones las cuales hicieron que su popularidad bajara, pero en 1984 con el reencuentro de los integrantes originales del grupo y cambiando su estilo a algo más sencillo, encontraron de nuevo el camino al éxito con canciones como Dude y Angel, entre otros hits que los tuvieron sonando durante un periodo largo de tiempo.

Este nuevo aire lanzo al grupo de nuevo a la fama tanto así que aparecieron en la tercera temporada de Los Simpson interpretando su canción Walk this Way, en 2007 estuvieron en una gira mundial, y el año pasado se lanzo el videojuego Aerosmith Guitar Hero con lo cual se confirma la vigencia que aun hoy tiene Aerosmith como una de las bandas de rock más famosas
