Hey, EddieLandsberg, actually they play the bottom in Zydeco alot, where the BASS is real prominate, along with the accordion and the Kick Drum..Alot like funk used to be played and still sounds better than most stuff I hear today..But I'm from the old school, so it's what I like..

I like how back in the day bass players went for bottom, and the engineers would always add lot's and lot's of compression and make sure it was right up front in the mix... nowadays, some bass players don't understand that there's a reason its called a BASS guitar... put the bottom back on that EQ - - cut the 80's fusion shit... this is how a bass is supposed to sound ! ! !
