While it is admirable that the bowler showed such concern after he had hit him I get a bit frustrated by it. Let's face it, bouncers are designed to either hit or narrowly miss, so to send one down with the desired effect and then rush down to give the batsman a cuddle is mixed messaging. Sure, see that he's still breathing and that his partner/the umpires are checking on him but then piss off back to your mark and get ready to do it again.
