The poles of Saturn contain thin protective tubes which lead all the way to the center of the planet. In the center of the planet is a protective orb which houses an entire civilization - an orb that is many times larger than the Earth. Why a hexagon? Is it known? I suppose you could say that a hexagon is the simplest structure formed between pressures that want to be both circular and straight, but that doesn't really explain the specifics. Magnetic polar force vs. shearing wind force?
