If you're familiar with speech and debate:
This is Stuff Christians Like by Jonathan Acuff. Humorous Interpretation speech performed by Chandler Lasch at STOA's 2011 National Invitational Tournament of Champions. Enjoy!
Wondering what I'm doing?
Well, if you don't know much about speech and debate, this speech is called a Humorous Interpretation. I compete in Stoa, a Christian speech and debate league for homeschooled kids. (Yes, I am homeschooled, that's why I make a joke about it.) Jon Acuff described this speech as a "one-person, performance art-type play." I think that's a pretty good description.
Familiar with Stuff Christians Like?
I took 5 posts from the SCL book: Being Not Funny For The Lord, Just Using God's Favorite Word When We Pray, The Seven People You Meet In A Prayer Circle (I do five people), and Dominating the 'Please Turn To...' Bible Race During Church. I was allowed to cut out parts of the posts, write my own introduction, and add or change some words.
Wondering about the accents?
I originally did the speech without accents, but some tournament judges were upset about the "lack of characters." I added the accents and took 2nd place at two tournaments, so I guess they liked it. :) If the accents/characters seem kind of random, it's because they are.
Note: rude comments will not be approved. I am a kid doing a fun speech, and though I would appreciate helpful criticism, anything beyond that is just unnecessary. Thank you. My cousin Jordan is AMAZING!!!
Really good work!

Great work! You're right, the accents are random. You even sound like a New Zealander at some point!
