@naomi7565 If she had waited for Bahuan, her fate would have been very ugly. And she did try to tell Bahuan about her pregnancy but he refused to call her out of fear. Besides, she did not leave Bahuan because he was poor and married Raj because he was rich. She was willing to escape with Bahuan even after he had left her, and even after she was engaged to Raj. The thing is he never called her. As for Raj, tradition weighted more than his love.
