Still would rather have my Mk.V Edition with 250 bhp at the wheels ,& Red Stuff pads & discs (all round) .. :) (remember the Mk.V took z 2 the time to build as the Mk.VI . hum... no comment,OK one.. corners have been cut,other than slightly less wind noise,though it has never annoyed me on long,fast drives (140 mph +). I think the Mk.V will be remembered as the GTi that really changed things for the better with it's 2.0 TFSi 16v unit,which is still my favourite 2.0 litre lump, the MK.V GTi (E30)
