I didn't know about him/her before I watched it. I try to keep myself unaware of plot points that comprise a movie or story before I watch it; I prefer to be surprised.

I did notice something about Lancer before he undressed in front of everyone. Demeanor, voice, something told me 'that's a guy.'

I was glad too. hehe

Nothing like a chick with facial hair or a deep voice to make your nerves try & run away.

It also emphasizes his 'rebel-freedom fighter side.
