@camino396 also never use straps your only as strong as your weakest link at a tourney you cant use them so why ever use them?

Nice Pulling. I've seen a lot of sumo pullers who have the same issue where a slightly heavier weight will not even budge from the floor even if a PR looks relatively smooth, I think it's more an issue with the sumo form itself being excellently effective to leave the body in a strong position for lockout but requiring most of the effort keeping the hips low off the floor to get the bar moving initially. But then I don't pull sumo preferentially. Again nice pulling, good luck on 6 wheels.

@DeadliftequalsLife thanks for the comments! Yeah sumo is much more difficult from the ground...I usually train with my feet on 100 or 45 pound plates so my range of motion is at a deficit.

Hey man, nice lift. I am 6 foot 1, weigh 185 as well. I am able to deadlift 520 lb....but only with straps. without straps i can only do about 430 lb because my grip fails. So my question to you is, how the hell do i develop grip strength that you seem to have?!
