Ey, looking very professional! I want to use the Doom engine (SDL or Mocha) for an Android based game (not Doom), but I need room over room, any idea how to implement this without GL?

@PhrackTheLord Well Doom is technically a 2D game. With GZdoom (Allowing me to use OpenGL), I take a dummy sector and mirror it into a tagged sector. So its still a 2D game, just I have a sector in mid air, in a sector. Doing it with out GL isn't possible, however, there is work arounds, such as a Linedef smoothly teleporting a player to another room to look like he/she went up a floor. You just have to pull that transition off smoothly

GZDoom also supports 3d models and hi res textures, maybe you should try making 3d mario? You might want to try out the chasecam (3rd person view) as well. Nice PWAD tho.

Trust me. I thought about it. But since I am doing the original Super Mario Bros. I kept them as 2D Sprites. I would also have to learn how to do modeling ;)
Being I have no clue on how to do that... Yet.
Thanks for the comment.

You need GZdoom. its a clone of zdoom, with some changes to the programming and the fact that its in open GL. Zdoom doesnt support Open GL
